April 8, 2025 – DVC Outlasts Sac City in Extra-Inning Thriller, 8–6
In a dramatic 10-inning showdown, Diablo Valley College rallied late to defeat Sacramento City College 8–6 on the road. Nicholas Meadows drove in two runs and pitched the final two innings to earn the win, improving his record to 3–1.
The Vikings struck early with a two-run third and continued to chip away at Sac City's lead throughout the night. After the Panthers tied the game 6–6 in the ninth, DVC responded with clutch hits in the 10th. Joey Rusca's RBI single followed by a bases-loaded walk drawn by Leo Paredes Williams sealed the victory.
Offensively, Marcus McClenon had three hits and an RBI, while Elijah Scott and Angus Olaes each scored twice. DVC pitchers Anthony Pisciotto and Meadows held strong, scattering 14 hits while allowing just six earned runs.
April 10, 2025 – Viking Comeback Stuns Sac City in Wild 12–11 Win
Down 11–3 entering the bottom of the seventh, Diablo Valley College erupted for nine unanswered runs over the final three innings to stun Sacramento City, 12–11, at Viking Field.
Zac Goldenberg and Luke Hillesheim delivered the heroics in the ninth. Goldenberg's RBI triple tied the game before Hillesheim's walk-off single completed the comeback. Hillesheim finished with three RBIs, and Goldenberg went 3-for-3 with three runs and two RBIs.
The win overshadowed Sac City's explosive start, which included a 7-run first inning. DVC's bullpen – led by Carson Downing, Noah Klube, and Teagan Gonzales – kept the Panthers off the board after the sixth, giving the offense a chance to rally. Gonzales picked up his first win of the season.
April 11, 2025 – Sac City Salvages Finale, Tops DVC 6–1
Sacramento City bounced back in the series finale, limiting Diablo Valley College to just one run on six hits in a 6–1 home win. DVC's lone score came in the eighth on a sac fly by Daenen Napoli.
Hudson Pergamit took the loss for the Vikings, allowing three runs over four innings, while Nicholas Meadows pitched the final four frames in relief. Zac Goldenberg stayed hot at the plate with two hits, including a double, and stole a base.
Sac City's Kaden Isola provided the big blow with a two-run homer in the third, while Cal Elvis chipped in two RBIs and a pair of doubles.
