Bio
Coach Beaux Tagaloa makes his coaching debut with DVC after a distinguished career for the California Golden Bears. Coach Tagaloa will serve as the Viking’s Defensive Line Coach, Strength and Conditioning Coach, and Academic Success Center Coordinator.
Coach Tagaloa is a bay area native, born in San Francisco and raised in Pittsburg, CA. He was a stand-out for De La Salle High School before enrolling at San Jose State University. Coach Tagaloa played for Spartans in 2019 and 2020. In 2020, Coach Tagaloa was a member of SJSU’s Mountain West Conference Championship, a member of the Academic All-Mountain West Team, and a member of the President/Dean’s list. He then transferred to Cal for his final three seasons of eligibility and earned his bachelor’s degree in Sociology in 2023.
