Logan Nonies

Bio

Logan Nonies is coming to Diablo Valley College with experience deeply rooted in the historic traditions of De La Salle High School. Coach Nonies started his football coaching career at his alma mater (c/o 2017) in 2023, working with the linebackers on both the Varsity and Junior Varsity levels. He also is the Associate Head Coach of nationally recognized KT Prep Academy’s middle school program and has been serving in that capacity for the past two years. 

As a player, Coach Nonies served as team captain for the Spartans and was awarded the Spartan Award, which is voted on by teammates and given to the most inspirational member of the team. He started at linebacker for De La Salle winning the 2015 (Division 1), 2016 (Open Division) NCS Championship and 2015 Open Division State Championship, while ranking #4 for total tackles that season. In 2015, while being featured on the documentary series “The Season: De La Salle Football”, De La Salle was also voted the Cal-Hi Sports State Team of the Year. Coach Nonies was also a decorated baseball player at De La Salle, winning NCS twice in 2016 and 2017. 

Coach Nonies philosophical values stem from Lasallian core principles and believes that it is his responsibility to provide guidance and mentorship through organized sports by specializing in skill and character development, which is implemented by instilling perseverance, discipline, and integrity. His goal is to provide opportunity for development for all individuals regardless of socioeconomic factors, and strives for quality education that can benefit his players for the transition to the next level and success after their time at DVC.
