Men's Cross Country: Diablo Valley Competes at MJC Invitational

The Diablo Valley College men's cross country team gained valuable experience at the MJC Invitational, racing against strong fields from across the Big 8 and Northern California.
Sophomore Paolo Morales led the Vikings with a personal-best time of 21:03.08, finishing 19th overall in the men's 4-mile race. Freshman Marcos Jackson followed with a solid debut, clocking 22:20.34 to place 51st.
DVC's depth continued with Jacob Pancoast (63rd, 22:44.89), Dominic Cataldo (74th, 23:26.06), and Liam Barrett (99th, 26:20.02), each recording personal records. Rounding out the lineup, Henry Vacakis (101st, 27:50.05) and Ronan Collins (106th, 31:24.58) also posted season-best efforts for the Vikings.
Women's Cross Country: Mendez Leads DVC at MJC Invitational

The Diablo Valley College women's cross country team delivered a strong showing at the MJC Invitational, highlighted by a top-10 finish from sophomore Elena Mendez.
Mendez clocked a personal-best 19:49.72, securing 8th place overall in a competitive women's 5,000-meter field. She was followed by sophomore Victoria Fung, who also set a personal record with a time of 20:22.45 to place 17th.
Freshman Tiana Holmes impressed in her collegiate debut, crossing in 21:31.82 for 30th place. She was joined by fellow freshman Liani Seaver, who posted a time of 24:15.74 (54th), continuing the string of PRs for the Vikings.
