Vikings Shine at NorCal Championships; Fung and Morales Advance to State
The Diablo Valley College Cross Country team returned to the legendary Woodward Park course for the 3C2A NorCal Championships, and the Vikings delivered an outstanding performance. Perfect racing conditions set the stage for a strong showing, with many athletes posting personal course bests.
Leading the way for the women was Tori Fung, who finished 12th overall, earning All-NorCal Second Team honors and securing a spot at the California State Championships on November 22. Fung's performance also earned her some well-deserved hardware to cap off an impressive race.
On the men's side, Paolo Morales also punched his ticket to the State Championships, continuing his strong season with another standout effort.
