Track & Field's Kane and Vojtenyi Lead DVC at 3C2A State Championships
Diablo Valley College wrapped up competition at the 2026 3C2A Track & Field State Championships with two scoring performances on the women's side.
Freshman Sydney Kane earned All-State honors in the women's discus throw, placing 7th overall with a mark of 40.62 meters to score two team points. Kane's performance capped off a strong freshman campaign and secured valuable points for the Vikings.
Sophomore Stephanie Vojtenyi added to Diablo Valley's scoring effort in the women's 400-meter hurdles, finishing 6th in 65.46 seconds to earn three team points. Vojtenyi battled through a competitive field to deliver a podium-level finish and close out her season on the state stage.
Together, Kane and Vojtenyi combined for five team points, representing Diablo Valley College, delivering scoring performances against California's top 3C2A athletes.
