Diablo Valley at Marin — November 20, 2025
Final: Marin 75, Diablo Valley 32
Diablo Valley struggled to find an offensive rhythm on the road, opening the night with back-to-back 6-point quarters and shooting just 15.1% from the field. Despite the challenging start, the Vikings found bright spots in individual performances.
Amani Boxdell led DVC with 10 points, adding 3 rebounds and 4 steals. Angeline Harris and Abena Yeboah contributed steady free-throw scoring, while Naomi Zurisadai Vidal turned in a strong effort off the bench, posting 9 points and a team-high 14 rebounds, including 11 on the defensive end.
DVC improved its scoring output in the third quarter with 14 points, but turnovers (30 total) and shooting difficulties made it hard to close the gap. The Vikings showed hustle on the glass, finishing with 29 rebounds, but could not overcome Marin's offensive efficiency.
Diablo Valley at Shasta — November 24, 2025
Final: Shasta 62, Diablo Valley 44
Diablo Valley put together a stronger offensive performance in the matchup at Shasta, highlighted by a big fourth quarter with 17 points as the Vikings fought to climb back late.
Naomi Zurisadai Vidal dominated inside, finishing with 15 points and 17 rebounds, her second straight double-digit rebounding game. Amani Boxdell provided a spark off the bench, knocking down 3 threes on her way to 15 points, while Athena Alkhoury added 8 points and 6 rebounds.
DVC shot 31.6% from three and an impressive 92.9% from the free-throw line, showing marked improvement in offensive efficiency. The Vikings also won the rebounding battle with 38 boards, including 10 offensive rebounds.
A tough third quarter (12 points vs. Shasta's 23) created a deficit too large to erase, but the Vikings closed the game with energy and defensive pressure.
