Women's Swim Results
Diablo Valley College turned in a strong and well-rounded performance at the Bob Miyashiro Invite, finishing with 446 points across 37 entries and showcasing one of their most effective meets of the season from a development standpoint. The Vikings posted 21 personal bests—an impressive 57% of their swims—along with 8 season bests, signaling that the group is hitting a productive stretch at the right time in the season.
The meet was led by Mia DeLuca, who delivered a standout all-around performance. She captured two victories in the 50 freestyle (24.56 and 24.87) while also placing third in both the 100 and 200 breaststroke, including a lifetime best 2:25.46 in the 200. Her ability to contribute at a high level across both sprint freestyle and breaststroke made her the team's top point scorer and a key driver of DVC's success.
Frida Avalos Paz provided another major highlight, particularly in the individual medley events. She won the 200 IM and added a runner-up finish in the 400 IM with a massive 21-second drop, one of the most significant improvements of the meet. She also placed second in another 200 IM swim and contributed in the 200 breaststroke, underscoring her versatility and impact across multiple events.
Beyond the top performers, DVC showed strong depth and consistency throughout the lineup. Chloe Pappas recorded multiple personal bests in the freestyle events, including a fourth-place finish in the 100 free. Regan Braga and Supitcha Phoonpirom added valuable points with consistent mid-final finishes in sprint free and backstroke events, while Brianna Smyth highlighted the butterfly group with a third-place finish in the 100 fly and a significant drop in the 200 IM.

Men's Swim Results
Diablo Valley College delivered a deep and high-performing showing on the men's side at the Bob Miyashiro Invite, finishing with 475 points across a large 70-swim lineup. The Vikings were particularly strong from a development perspective, recording 45 personal bests—an outstanding 64% of their swims—along with 16 season bests. The combination of volume, improvement, and scoring depth made this one of their most complete team performances of the season.
Daniel Lewis led the way with a dominant and versatile meet, contributing across IM and distance freestyle events. He placed as high as second in the 500 freestyle (4:50.16) with a massive 22-second drop, added multiple top-three finishes in the 400 IM, and delivered strong swims in the 100 IM and 200 free. His range and consistency made him one of the team's most valuable contributors. Joe Greer complemented that effort on the sprint side, securing podium finishes in the 50 free (2nd and 3rd) and adding strong performances in the 100 free, including a third-place finish and multiple sub-48 swims.
Evan Sonoda added significant scoring in the distance and IM events, highlighted by a first-place finish in the 200 back and top-five finishes in both the 500 free and 400 IM, all with substantial time drops. Ray Fitch also contributed in the IM and backstroke events with consistent top-eight finishes, while Massimo Trento anchored the breaststroke group with strong swims in both the 100 and 200, including a fourth-place finish in the 200 breast.
The Vikings' depth was a major factor throughout the meet. Donovan Swann, Seth Venables, and Quinn Luttropp provided steady contributions in the freestyle events, frequently landing in scoring positions while posting multiple personal bests. Isaiah Warner led the butterfly group with improvements across the 100 and 200 fly, while Petros Lewis added distance points, including a top-10 finish in the 1650 free and a notable drop in the 400 IM.
