Diablo Valley protected its home court in a fast-paced matchup, edging out Los Medanos in an 88–85 victory that came down to the final possessions. The Vikings set the tone with a strong 44-point first half and held off a late surge from the Mustangs to secure the win.
DVC showcased a balanced offensive attack with five players scoring in double figures.
